Salary and Benefits: £30,000 + per annum – dep on experience

Hours of work: 9am-5pm Mon to Fri- Office Based

The Right Client- Nominate Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a well-known charity who are seeking a Payroll Manager to join their busy Finance team.

The Right role:

Key point of contact for liaising with the payroll provider.
To drive improvement in payroll processing and reporting.
To manage payroll related services internally, ensuring effective payroll controls, policies and
procedures are in place and operating.
Responsible for timely and accurate payment processing and review of discrepancies.
Responsible for posting payroll information into Sage 200.
Responsible for all aspects of payroll related financial control, including month end
reconciliations.
Produce payroll management reports and undertake ad-hoc payroll reporting and payroll
related projects.
Understanding of employer payroll and pension obligations and be responsible for
ensuring compliance.
Have a good working knowledge of the Groups terms and conditions and to provide
accurate information and guidance when required.
To keep up to date with all legislative changes relating to payroll

The Right Fit:

Ideal candidates will have :

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a large complex payroll function
Minimum 2 years’ experience of working with computerised payroll systems

5 GSCE’s grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English
2 A-Levels (or equivalent) OR 5 year payroll experience
