Job Title: Stores Co-Ordinator
Location: Ballymena
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hrs per week)
Flexitime: Hours can be worked between 7.30am – 6pm

Our client, a successful Construction Business based in Ballymena, is seeking a highly organised and proactive Stores Co-Ordinator to take ownership of their materials, consumables, tools, and spare parts inventory. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in materials management to join a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate stock records for materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Implement Lean inventory control techniques to minimise waste and material loss.
• Document and report discrepancies, including damaged or incorrect goods.
• Verify all incoming materials against purchase orders for specification, quantity, and quality.
• Organise and maintain the stores area, ensuring accessibility, safety, and good housekeeping.
• Monitor usage patterns to optimise stock flow and reduce idle inventory.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a Stores Manager role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with audits, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of material handling safety, PPE usage, and storage standards.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to supervise and lead a team.
• Good knowledge of inventory control methods (safety stock, reorder levels, etc).
